PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position will investigate buying data needs, recommend solutions, and execute strategies by creating complex analytical reporting tools by utilizing business intelligence software, flowcharts, spreadsheets, databases, and other decision support tools like Domo. The analyst will compile and implement improvements to periodic reports and support ad-hoc data requests. The analyst will develop functional specifications for decision support tools through partnership with SME’s to effectively identify business requirements to support buying functions like sales, Inventory and margin control for all areas under the buying department. Teaching new tools to targeted teams to establish a base of knowledge within the buying team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Research, Create, Maintain, Automate reporting processes for the inventory team and cross-functional partners.
•Routinely manage reporting needs on a recurring basis: i.e. daily, weekly, monthly.
•Provides informational training and documentation for tools/processes created.
•Partner with the Business Intelligence team along with key inventory partners to become an inventory metric SME.
•Partner with cross functional teams to impact in stock, fill rate, turns and sales objectives by providing accurate effective data driven solutions.
•Continually collaborates with cross-functional business partners to develop processes and tools to maintain inventory productivity, minimize excess inventory and store level in-stock goals.
•Carefully manages inputs and calculations to ensure accurate work products.
•Run weekly established report as assigned by the Buying Data Science Manager

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR FORMAL TRAINING, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND/OR SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
•SQL, or Python, preferred
•Experience with software like DOMO or Tableau, preferred
•1-2 years retail experience preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Works well independently
•Ability to work with others in a team environment
•Able to take direction and accomplish tasks with minimum supervision, accurately and meeting deadlines
•Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and strong Excel skills required
•Organized, Attention to Detail, Works well under pressure
•Adaptable in a change oriented environment
•Required bilingual Spanish/English
